For seven years, I was a Software Engineer in a high-volume legal intake environment supporting hundreds of law firms across the country. I worked on the platforms, reporting systems, CRM integrations, and handoff workflows that moved legal intake data from first contact to firm systems.

The part that shaped everything came from the call center floor.

There was no spare office when I joined, so I took a desk near the agents taking live calls for personal injury firms around the country. I couldn't hear the callers.
